Wow where to begin. I almost never take the time to write a review but I have to for this because it has been a life changing for me for the better. I am working with Joana and I love her! I haven’t felt this clear headed and sharp in almost 9 years. See after my second pregnancy everything change on how I felt and mental health was never the same. I never thought I could ever felt again how I was before giving birth to my second baby. After years going to the doctor and because everything was within range they would do nothing and it’s been a frustrating years feeling chronic fatigue and foggy and nothing that can be done other than work out and take your aderall. wow I am so excited to feel like the old me again! I cried a little. Finally ! I don’t have any brain fog and I have sustainable energy for the whole day! Without feeling like I need a nap or few hours of laying down. And I don’t need aderall anymore…. Thank you Joana.

Hypothyroidism, or underactive thyroid, is much more common than hyperthyroidism.
Hypothyroidism is defined as an underactive thyroid, which results in the gland producing less thyroid hormone than your body needs.
The definition of hyperthyroidism is an overactive thyroid gland. As a result, the thyroid gland produces more hormones than the body needs. These high levels of thyroid hormone can lead to weight loss, increased heart rate, and heat intolerance.
The thyroid gland uses iodine to produce hormones that help regulate the body's metabolism including growth and other functions of the body. The thyroid gland is the only human tissue that actively absorbs and processes iodine from the diet, usually seafood or iodized salt.
There is no specific “treatment” for adrenal fatigue. Treatments will be designed to target the root causes. Lifestyle changes and supplementation may be recommended to reduce stress and cortisol release. Hormone replacement may be used to reverse the hormone imbalances that were created by the increased production of cortisol that results from adrenal fatigue.
You can lower your risk of adrenal fatigue by reducing stress and improving your lifestyle. Make changes such as giving up smoking, alcohol, and drugs. Starting an exercise program, eating healthy foods, and following a daily routine for sleeping and waking will almost always make you feel better, and could help you avoid the problems of adrenal fatigue.
The root cause of adrenal fatigue is stress. Our doctors understand that adrenal fatigue is a condition caused by overstimulation of the adrenal glands due to long-term stress. When you are overstressed the adrenals release too much cortisol. Cortisol lowers your testosterone levels, which adds to many of the problems associated with adrenal fatigue.
While women cannot avoid the change of life, they do not have to suffer from symptoms that make the adjustment more difficult than necessary. Our menopause treatment can help ease the body through the many changes that occur in the body as the reproductive cycle winds down. Menopause is the start of a new phase of life, with new possibilities and priorities. Why not take advantage of today’s advanced medical knowledge to ensure that you are prepared to make the most of it?
Restoring hormonal balance with our unique menopause treatment has helped many women make the transition to the menopausal phase of life much more comfortable. Benefits experienced from the use of traditional HRT and HGH can include improved sleep quality, reduction or elimination of hot flashes, increased energy, and restoration of sex drive. Many women find that mood swings, anxiety, and depression are improved or eliminated as the body’s hormones come back into balance, promoting a general sense of well-being. Greater mental clarity and memory have been reported, as has increased muscle tone, decreased body fat, and lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Restoring hormonal balance with BHRT has helped many women make the transition to the menopausal phase of life much more comfortable. Benefits experienced from the use of BHRT can include improved sleep quality, reduction or elimination of hot flashes, increased energy, and restoration of sex drive. Many women find that mood swings, anxiety, and depression are improved or eliminated as the body’s hormones come back into balance, promoting a general sense of well-being.
Many times, a person will be told he or she has adrenal fatigue based on symptoms alone. Sometimes, a blood or saliva test may be offered, but the results and analysis of such tests are often not enough to give a definitive diagnosis of adrenal fatigue.
“Adrenal fatigue” is a term applied to a collection of nonspecific symptoms, such as body aches, fatigue, nervousness, sleep disturbances, and digestive problems. The term "adrenal fatigue" was coined in 1998 by James Wilson, Ph.D., a naturopath, and expert in alternative medicine. He describes it as a “syndrome” that results “when the adrenal glands function below the necessary level."
Another important difference between BHRT and synthetic hormone replacement is individuality. Synthetic hormones are standardized into one-size-fits-all dosages and ratios. A one-size-fits-all approach is never a great idea for any medical procedure, but it can be especially problematic when it comes to balancing each woman’s unique body chemistry. Bioidentical therapy is specifically formulated for each woman. Her hormone levels and overall health are carefully assessed to determine exactly what she needs to achieve and maintain her own unique and delicate hormonal balance for optimal health and well-being.
Bioidentical hormones are natural compounds, derived from plants. Unlike commonly prescribed synthetic hormones, bioidentical hormones have the same molecular structure as hormones produced by the body, allowing them to be metabolized much more easily. That chemical compatibility with the body yields more effective symptom relief than synthetic hormones with fewer risks and side effects.
The regular cycling of these hormones begins to change as early as the mid-thirties and symptoms likely begin in the mid-forties as women begin the process known as pre-menopause. It is the time when levels of key hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone begin to fluctuate and are accentuated by declines in other equally important hormones, namely HGH, DHEA/Pregnenolone, and even thyroid gland function. Pre-menopause continues until periods stop and the woman becomes menopausal.
Menopause sometimes referred to as “the change of life,” is that time in every woman’s life when her periods stop and her ovaries lose their reproductive function. Usually, this occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, but in a few exceptional cases, women may become menopausal in their 30s, or even younger. This is then known as premature menopause or premature ovarian failure. “Medical menopause” can be caused by certain surgical procedures such as a hysterectomy.
While ED is more common in older men, the truth is men of any age can have erectile difficulties. In younger men, ED more likely stems from some kind of stress-related event--changing jobs, starting a new relationship, moving--that’s affecting them mentally and emotionally. A younger man’s ED could also be caused by a prescription medication they are taking for something else, like an anti-anxiety drug.
Yes, because ED is usually caused by impaired blood flow, it could be a sign of a more serious underlying health condition such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. This is why despite maybe feeling embarrassed, it is critical to see a doctor if you have persistent ED.
After a full medical examination and evaluation of your symptoms, a blood test is necessary to test your hormone levels, before your doctor can give you an official diagnosis of andropause, and write you a prescription for testosterone therapy and/or growth hormone therapy.
Andropause is a collection of symptoms that are caused by age-related hormone decline in men. Unlike menopause in women, which occurs at a specific point in time, after her last menstrual period, andropause in men occurs more slowly over time. Menopause in women is caused mainly by the depletion of estrogen. Andropause is caused by the slow decrease in testosterone that occurs as a man ages. Decreasing levels of human growth hormone, also contribute to andropause.
When taken as prescribed for you, testosterone therapy is generally regarded as safe. However, as with any prescription medication, there are some possible side-effects to testosterone therapy. Though rare, testosterone therapy side effect can include: Increased body hair Enlarged breasts Headache Increased anxiety Numbness (patches and gels) Pain or inflammation of the injection site (injections)
Technically, growth hormone deficiencies are not “cured,” but they are very safely and effectively treated with prescription growth hormone injections. Some of the many benefits of growth hormone injections include: Increased strength Increased stamina More energy Improved sexual function Improved memory and cognition Better sleep Better moods Increased ability to burn fat and build muscle Healthier skin and bones
There is not a textbook “normal” HGH level for adults. The right amount of HGH for any given individual varies based largely on size and weight. Therefore, once your growth hormone levels are obtained via lab tests, your evaluation and diagnosis for a growth hormone deficiency is based on Body Mass Index or BMI. Doctors use the following diagnostic guidelines for GHD in adults: Peak HGH level less than11.1 mcg/L in patients with BMI less than 25 Peak HGH level less than 8.1 mcg/L in patients with BMI of 25 to less than 30 Peak HGH level less than 4.1 mcg/L in patients with BMI equal to or greater than 30
Yes. HGH is only legally available with a doctor’s prescription. Anything that claims to be HGH, or contains HGH, that you can purchase without a prescription, cannot be real growth hormone. Furthermore, legitimate HGH therapy is only given via injections. Any other method of delivery, such as pills, or powders that claims to be growth hormone therapy is not.
HGH is primarily responsible for influencing everything responsible for cellular growth. Therefore, growth hormone is instrumental in building strong bones and healthy muscles. It is HGH that stimulates all of the processes that allow children to grow to teens, and teens to achieve their full strength and stature as adults. While HGH is vitally important during those growing years, we still need HGH even as adults, so that we can continue to replace damaged cells and to maintain good muscle mass and bone health throughout our lives.
Growth hormone deficiency (GHD) is a medical condition. Growth hormone is produced by the pituitary gland. Any injury or disease condition that causes a problem with the pituitary function, can lead to GHD. GHD in adults could be the continuation of an untreated or ineffectively treated growth hormone deficiency in childhood. However, it is usually the result of the natural decline in HGH that occurs as you age.
After a full medical examination and evaluation of your symptoms, a blood test is necessary before your doctor can give you an official diagnosis of low testosterone, and write you a prescription for testosterone therapy. A small sample of blood is taken to determine your testosterone level. There is no special preparation needed for a testosterone blood test
Low testosterone can be caused by some disease conditions or genetic defects. However, the most common cause of low testosterone in men is the natural decline in testosterone production as you age. As a boy grows, testosterone production continues through adolescence until it reaches its highest level at about the age of 20. Through your 20s, testosterone level stays at or close to the peak. Then, once you are over 30, your testosterone level will start on a steady downward slope. By the time you are over 40, most men will be feeling the negative impacts of low testosterone.
As men grow older, testosterone levels naturally decline. Testosterone therapy is a prescription medication that can give you back what time and nature take away! Testosterone therapy is designed to make you feel younger, stronger, and improve your confidence, so you can continue to do all the things you enjoy most in life.
Yes, Using HGH for weight loss, muscle building, or anti-aging is experimental and controversial. HGH injections are believed to decrease fat storage and increase muscle growth to some extent, but studies have not shown this to be a safe or effective weight loss remedy.
Most women continue treatment for 2-3 years to decrease symptoms of menopause or other hormonal changes. However, there is no limit on how long you can continue treatment if you are happy with the results. For women between 40-55, hormone therapy is ideal for navigating the season of menopause and managing symptoms.
Testosterone is a steroidal hormone that causes fairly rapid increases in lean muscle mass and strength, restores libido and helps with things like erectile dysfunction in men. HGH is a protein that is responsible for growth.
Single prescription pen of most reputed HGH injections brands may cost around $1300. HGH is more expensive in the USA than it is in many other countries and this has led people to go for anti-aging therapies in places like Mexico and Costa Rica for cheaper HGH. The cost difference can be close to $700-$800.
It improves skin and hair

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a treatment used to relieve symptoms of menopause. It replaces female hormones that are at a lower level as you approach menopause.
Yes, you do. The FDA has approved many prescription products that contain bioidentical hormones. However, the term bioidentical is often used to refer to custom-compounded hormones.
