I don’t usually write reviews but our experience was perhaps the worst I have ever had at any restaurant. We went here on the recommendation of a friend who lives in the area, and she was shocked and embarrassed by the experience. The male host with blonde eyebrows was extremely rude and frankly should be in another line of work. This set the tone for the entire evening and appears to be the standard at Earl’s. Why he thinks the horse he sits on is so high is beyond me. I don’t think he realizes that at the end of the day this is a less than mediocre chain restaurant in a MALL with a so-so outdoor terrace. Maybe the truly exorbitant prices have gone to the staff’s heads? Charging fine dining prices does not a fine dining restaurant make. My husband aptly described this as a well dressed red lobster (not a complement). In general the wait staff were shockingly snobby, possibly because we were dressed casually. Most guests were definitely dressed for Instagram, and had a very social media/content focused attitude. We were a party of 5 but were only given 2 menus, the waitress said she would bring us more, she did not in the 20 minutes it took to bring our drinks, or at any point there after. We ordered the rib eye with truffle butter and the waitress pretty clumsily up sold us on a lobster tail but we figured why not... big mistake. After that it was a catastrophe. My sister’s hamburger was cooked to death and just generally looked and tasted like something you’d get in an airport. The rib eye was thin, grizzly, and very low quality. It was extremely salty and the truffle butter was a disappointment. My other friend ordered clam chowder which was not just cold, it had a full blown skin on it. The poor sad little lobster tail was cooked to rubber and aggressively over-seasoned until it was unrecognizable. It tasted genuinely foul. But the worst was my friend whose food took extra long… when she finally received it it had elements that seemed to have gone rancid and the sauce had a large “mystery chunk” in it. She did not eat her dinner, we decided to cut out losses and get the check and leave. The manager, who was the only sincere and even remotely customer oriented staff member in the entire establishment was really sweet but fell well short of making up for our horrible experience which we are still talking and laughing about days later. I am happy to pay higher prices for higher quality, but this was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. All in all the prices are just obscene for the quality and service they provide. The restaurant group should be embarrassed and really needs to examine the culture at this location at minimum, and consider examining their suppliers and sourcing better ingredients. Gross.

1) Shard of hard plastic in my drink 2) Large pieces of fried cauliflower in the fried calamari 3) The steak was extremely salty 4) The “truffle butter” was salt soup and had zero truffle flavor 5) The lobster tail was like rubber and seasoned really weirdly 6) The burger did not come with cheese as requested 7) The side of mayonnaise I requested had a chunk of something from the kitchen in it that should not have been there and when I asked for a replacement they gave me tarter sauce Overall for the price this was absolutely insane. The service was fine, the manager was very kind about everything but the wait staff and hosts were very rude and snotty. McDonalds serves a tastier burger. Go anywhere else.

Very comfortable booth seating. Clam chowder soup is delicious. They have steak specials on Wednesdays and it was quite packed at 7 but the crowd thins out after 9.
