Worst hospital experience Ive ever been a part off. My mom was in this hospital for 10 days, horrible communication between dr.’s and patient, and they gave wrong information on 4 occasions. She was supposed to be getting in patient cancer treatments 3 different times and because of miscommunication she did not receive it. Our family had no idea the status of my mom because of the horrible way every situation was handled and we were in the room with her 90% of the time. It was truly one of the worst experiences of our lives. I would never purposely take a family member to this hospital.

If you need medical care go else where. My 2 year old son passed away 8/5 and they did not do everything possible to save my son. They never used an AED nor did they give my son Cortisone after I continuously repeated he is cortisone dependent! We all had covid and they found the need to call CPS and accuse me of medical neglect. Like this is how you treat grieving parents? How do you accuse someone you don’t know! I will definitely be suing the doors off the place and I will not rest until their doors are closed and the people that took a oath to save lives and advocate for those in need are punished. If I did not care for my son I wouldn’t have brought him in. The logic & empathy of whom ever called in is lacking. You do not deserve to be a licensed healthcare professional. Shame on you and shame on Baylor. I will never see my son again and my heart aches for him & his neglect from your staff! #Long Live Jaxxon Ward Oats #You will hear his name again

3 hous waiting in ER is not acceptable. My wife's DR has residency here and we drove over an hour to this specific hospital. Disappointing.

I have literally been here 7 hours and have not seen anyone. Then when I ask if they could check on my name they say they are waiting on rooms. Everyone after me has gotten a room. So disappointing. I have been coming here for years. I will never come back to this place ever.

I just called and the hotel on the campus is no more. They referred me to Home 2 suites on Gaston, very near
There might be. Look for an apartment rental magazine in stores. Search online.
in the lobby of the Truett building
Baylor is a good one I have been here for seeing drs and have had brain surgery here too. I live 80 miles out also
My husband is here, how can I talk to his doctor?
There are four towers at Bumc! They are connected!
I am unaware
Im not sure because of the increasing covid-19. Best way to find out is to call.
Normally the patient is taken to their rode and helped inside by discharge nurse (policy). However there are some that are persistent they want to walk out. Of they have satisfied their observation time status post surgical procedure with no problems we cannot stop patients from walking out, it is their choice.
You should be able to ask for valet parking but each floor of the parking garage has handicap parking and elevator access
Yes
I think so but I'm not sure
No, but there is a Home2 next door, an Element Hotel a block away, and Deep Ellum Hostel a short walk away.
Unless you have an employee parking pass the most you will pay is 5$ for over 6 hours

I have seen pets around the hospital! I'm sure if you were to explain to them your situation they would understand. Also a companion plays an essential role in the healing process. Well wishes for your sister hope she gets to feeling better soon!
They do job fairs here I would call Aramark and ask
They gave someone in guest relations that will help
Across from the ER. It should be Hall Street. You can also do the valet parking but it's on the opposite side of the ER.
You will need to contact Humana for information specific to your policy. There should be a number and/or web portal (usually located on the back of your insurance card) where you can access and verify which providers are covered by your policy.
We go interstate 45.take it in Ennis...all the way.to Dallas stay in the right lane.till you see interstate 30..go left.onto 30 and down to pike street to your right. At red light turn left going down pike to worth street go down worth and you will be.ay Baylor.there is parking on the.right of you
It's right next to emergency, across from Sammons. It's also called Pickens.
I'm no doctor

The Baylor one runs around $90. The Home 2 suites run from $129 and up. Ask for the Baylor rate if using Home 2 suites
While you can contact financial services at Baylor to verify, check their website at https://www.bswhealth.com/locations/dallas/patient-tools/Pages/insurance-accepted.aspx. Baylor does appear to accept Ambetter.
It is a good Hospital, excellent service, Very professional and friendly staff Highly recommended.
It really all depends on what is considered being in your budget, the Wadley/Barnett tower has accommodations for patients families and guests and there is a hotel across Gaston catty-corner from the dental school that you can try for accommodations, however I don't know the price points off hand. Check Airbnb, Google Maps, and a travel website to see if you can find cheaper rates in the area.
Check with the nurse
Check online or call them
If you have insurance, contact them for a list of specialists and to see if you need a referral from your PCP.
Look online
Is there rooms for families or a hotel nearby walking distance?
There's some nice apartments in Deep Ellum that are within walking distance.
Call the operator and have them put you through to the patient room.
Well I had given a wheel chair till where our car was Parked .we actually dint park the car inside the parking..we just parked opp to main entrance which is an emergency parking that will be 3501 junius Street ...if u can see Street view in Google Map cars are parked near the red statue
Ask the charge nurse, the social worker, or go to the post office in the Wadley Tower or the Credit Union along the bus route.
Deep Ellum area is nearby plus Live Oak and Gaston Streets have food.
Ask the social worker. They would be the ones who would have that.
Home 2 Suites Baylor Scott & White 3300 Gaston Ave.
Baylor Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular hospital is at 621 Hall Street. Its on the west side of the huge Baylor complex.Find it on Google Maps
See if they have a lost and found.
Several thousand dollars. Everyone is different. Insurances are different Your Doctor has his charges, and the hospital has its charges etc... Talk to your Doctor
Your Welcome! Glad the community was able to help.?
Call The main number and ask.
It's always dependent on the staff and the patient. They don't need a big crowd in there in case they need to call a code blue or RRT.
If all else fails, try Parkland Hospital
Yes
Everybody file a complaint!
You must call the ICU department to find out the exact hours, and how many visitors are allowed.
Johnson Hospital is in the center of the whole Baylor University Medical Center complex. More specifically at at the intersection of Junius and Pauline Street. Bring money to park!
No. There's not a workout room. Your primary Doctor would send you to a private rehab facility after your release,if needed.
Call your healthcare provider and have them tell you who's in your network. Or, Google Baylor dermatologist .
You would need to go or call/go online to the Baylor College of Dentistry and give them some information to see if you're eligible.
I doubt it. Especially long term. You might be able to park on a street and feed several meters a bunch of change for a day. You might be able to find something further away and walk back to the hospital. You'll need to drive around and do some recon.
Baylor saved my wife's life last Apri with a double lung transplant. The whole staff was great and verry professional . I would recommend them for any surgery. We live in Amarillo which is 7 and a half hours away. Worth every inconvenience .A Second opinion will ease youR Mind

It's in the Sammons Center gift shop next to the Starbucks.
You call and ask for said person by name. If they are registered for a procedure they will tell you which floor they are on.
