Does this hospital have any places for patients family can stay while the patient is having open heart surgery and the family needs to stay for a while with our having to having to much money on hotels.

It really all depends on what is considered being in your budget, the Wadley/Barnett tower has accommodations for patients families and guests and there is a hotel across Gaston catty-corner from the dental school that you can try for accommodations, however I don't know the price points off hand. Check Airbnb, Google Maps, and a travel website to see if you can find cheaper rates in the area.
