Although this library is spacious and very well organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, it is not quiet enough , especially if you are there to study. The front desk staff is loud. There’s no enforcement of the no cellphone use policy. In my opinion, the staff needs training on how to make this library a more peaceful and pleasant environment.

Yes, you can still come in and visit! You can even take out material because East Meadow is a Nassau County Library! Enjoy your visit!

Papers may have been thrown away. Flash drives most likely not. if the papers had something that looked kind of important in may have been saved. Call the library up to find out. If you were there on a weekday I would call on Monday. Different people work there from the weekend to the weekdays
