I went to the emergency room on September 27, 2022 at 11:10 PA a very rude lady was at the front desk. With no manners at all treating people in a very respectful way. This kind of behavior from personal should be avoid in emergency situation.

Mount Sinai is the worst hospital I’ve ever encountered. They weren’t always like this but in 2022 they are trash!!!!! On 9/11/22 I had to call an ambulance for my mom. I’d much rather her go to Lennox Hill but they refused to take her. She fell and was unable to get up so I called an ambulance. They took her to the ER. A mess. Unorganized patients parked in every corner. She was then transferred to the maternity unit. She was left in bed for seven days without moving to the point my 66 year old mother would cry on the phone because she was not able to move. The doctor assigned to her Jeffrey Rothman useless, cold, unknowledgeable about his patients On day 4 after at least leaving him ten messages he called and told me the bare minimum. Had absolutely no care or concern for my mom. No physical therapists came nothing just left her in bed so they can milk insurance money. On the tenth day after talking to a social worker for 4 days straight trying to find my mother a decent acute rehab which they don’t help any bed they can find even on the street they will stick someone there. I finally find a rehab they said my mom would be discharged to. Finally, I call to find out when she would be discharged they told me 7pm. Here I am writing this review at 10:11pm and my mom is still in this pathetic hospital. I call to find out if transportation came. I’m left on hold from a nurse and the phone hangs up. Clearly they left me on hold thinking I would hang up. No transport. No updates. No calls. No nothing!!!!! This hospital is trash avoid at costs.

I hated my experience at this hospital. I just got discharged no recommendations for treatment, couldn't get a doctor's note for work, couldn't immediately reach patient relations and spent hours trying to get assistance from hospital staff. Unfortunately this is the hospital my OB is assigned to. From this hospitalization alone I don't want to give birth here.

Had a great experience at the labor and delivery center. Amazing staff of doctors, nurses and assistants. They also have a birth registrar on-prem to take care of birth certificates for the newborn. Excellent and quality care. Billing department is the worst. Make sure to review your bill for any unexpected claims and charges. Their billing helpline is not prompt either.

Were you impatient or outpatient? Knowing that depends on what dept to request a copy of either your medical records or ancillary charges. There is no " receipt "
You gotta contact the doctor in charge and let him know which pharmacy you prefer to get your medicine from.

I don’t think they dont you need to talk to HRA they do have a lot of different programs they can take you to a new place, none of them are great. most of them are ghetto. you have to go to shelter and then temporary housing it’s a pain in the rear and it takes a long time

The staff there is amazing, they have a social worker on staff that assisted my mother in recieving services. If you want, I can provide you with the social workers information.

This is exactly what I’m talking about, they could’ve done a rapid blood test but they chose not to lawsuit. Didn’t do what they were supposed to do. Get a good lawyer like I’m getting and go after them maybe we can do a dual malpractice lawsuit I was in OB/GYN delivering there as well I know how they are there
Yes, parking for any hospital patients, there are also general parking lots within a block or two from the hospital.
