If your reading this. Then you clicked on the main entrance pin off google maps. There is a south entrance too. I just added. Right before the Old Dutch Church. It had a entrance and parking. There is also a road which is unnamed on google at this moment till I add it. But on the maps provided in the cemetery it’s listed as Sleepy Hallow Avenue. Which does go past the bridge. So you don’t actually have to walk the whole thing. You can drive your car down that way. The maps in the cemetery are decent but trying to compare them to the google maps to walk is difficult when google isn’t correctly updated. On that note. I would go early if you would like or enjoy to have the cemetery to yourself. It tends to get busy around 11am. You can drive the area too if walking isn’t your thing or your unable too.any of its sites are accessible by car an then a few paths. Some are not. If you park at South Gate you can walk down to the street to the original location of the bridge an across the street again to the statue of the headless horseman.

I'm a die hard Cemetery enthusiat. I see one and I stop and explore. This is my first time here and I'm totally blown away. Washington Irving was a stepping point for my hobby. This place is absolutely Beautiful. This is actually an understatement. I will be back to explore more for days on end. I live 2 hrs away and this will not stop me. Just can't believe it took me this long. The grounds are breathtaking and the history alone will bring me here.

Such an interesting cemetery with so much to see! Driving in your car or walking, you could spend a long time taking in all the history.

Yes. Dogs must be leashed at all times and all waste cleaned up and removed.
No, it's a regular cemetery.
The grounds are beautiful; however, there is a rather steep hill so you can simply drive or if you are in good walking shape it is very nice to see on foot.
The cemetery is open daily until 4:30 pm. There are free maps available. You do not need to buy tickets to visit unless you are with a large group.
Individuals or families may walk or drive during visiting hours, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Grounds close at 4:30 pm. Groups must make advance arrangements and be accompanied by cemetery staff.
Laura, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery's craft vendors are tentatively scheduled for the 3rd Saturday in October, 10/19. We have no information on the neighboring Old Dutch Church and it's Old Dutch Fest beer tent. Please note that while the properties adjoin, they are separately owned. By law, beer purchased in the 2 acre churchyard may not be taken into Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
There was no admission when I was there in November
