It's a rushed guided tour that spends most of the time outdoors. If you are very interested in modern art, it might be worth the $60 tour, otherwise I'd save my money and go to one of the other beautiful historic homes in the Hudson Valley.

Took tbe Classic Tour today. Perfect weather. It was half inside the house and half outside in the gardens which are Beautiful!!!!! Loved learning about the house and the family. Great for all ages! Very accommodating for my 80 yr old mother. Even though it's a waking tour, plenty of times to sit and stop and bathroom breaks. Highly recommend!

Tour goes too fast, you can't enjoy the gardens unless you are willing to pay a lot, everything is beautiful... If you saw it at all.

what time does the tour begin 5/21/19
You have to go to the Phillipsburg Manour visitors centre and get tickets thereC. The fee depends upon the tour type that you go one. Can be around $25, but is well worth going.😄😃😀
Its between 2-4 dollars cheaper than full price. 22.00 or so.
There are three options of varying lengths, but the choice is usually restricted to what is not totally booked out!

Look on their websites for times and tickets. You don't have to book in advance but I would suggest that you do so you can get the time you want since it's a holiday weekend there might be a lot of people.

Kykuit is not a public park/ historic site. It is privately owned and controlled by the Rockefeller family and related foundations. As a private business it is not a facility open to the public. To visit one must pay a fee and follow the restrictions imposed on all paying customers.
No, sorry. Kykuit is open Thursday-Sunday in September. Daily except Tuesdays in October.
They offer 3 differ tours. Classic, Grand Tour & Lamdmark/Timesaver. Classic is $23 weekdays & $26 weekends. Grand is $40 week days & weekends, Landmark is same as the classic.
I believe it's 65 and over. That's what it is for the Historic Hudson Valley membership, and Kykuit tours are run through HHV
