The temple is open all day i.e.8:30 AM to 8:30 PM on weekends, national holidays and significant festivals. Weekdays, it closes during the day i.e between 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

Out of state visitors do visit frequently. There are many hotels nearby and the temple is open 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM most days ( detailed hours are available on the website). And there is a nice cafeteria with good food available at very reasonable prices in the temple.

As far as Replica of Sri Balaji Temple in NJ USA, yes. But certainly, not,the largest in Nj or USA. I think, few of Baps temples are the largest and Akshardham Biggest Hindu Temple In New Jersey USA. But Sri Balaji Temple is worth visiting no matter where in USA you live.

Yajur is on Saturday 25TH and Gayathri on Sunday 26TH August 2018. The BW calendar shows wrong dates but their site and Panchangam confirms the above ones. FYI that. a mass upakarma will be conducted on 25TH at 7.30am and 9.30am(with homam) for yajur. Got to know the calendar issues only now and planning to seek a clarification on the same.

You can call them and register amd they will designate priest for the time you specify. All the priests get booked so book in advance if you are planning to have on weekend.

They don't perform tonsure. But, there is something called 3 scissors ( moodu kattheralu) which they do in the temple premises if we r unable to tonsure before 1 year of age for babies. U can call the temple office for more details
