It's customary for therapists to have one or more colleagues serve as emergency coverage in case a client needs to speak with someone while the primary therapist is away.

Does the state of NJ pay for Social Workers to renew their license or do the social worker pay?

Some agencies and organizations cover the cost of licensure and renewal, but it is up to your employer. The state requires renewal every two years and there is a fee associated with it. Feel free to call our office if you need additional information!
