I have read nightmarish stories about HPD however, let me say this, I had a issue with my apt regarding several Violations that were dates back to the 90’s that I was unaware of. I contacted HPD and EVERY SINGLE PERSON I encountered within HPD has been beyond helpful and kind. I was preparing myself for te worst but they have been completely understanding and incredibly helpful. I resolved my issues, I contacted them and the inspection process was expedited. I then ran into another issue that I was unaware of. I took care of it, they sent someone over as soon as they could. They were responsive to my calls and genuinely kind. I was dealing with HPD in Manhattan and they were truly so kind. I can’t thank them enough. I was going through an extremely difficult time and they show compassion that I never expected to receive. I’m so thankful.

Yes
Call 311 and report them ask for an inspector to come and show the inspector where the problem is the worst.perhaps he will be able to write a violation for it
? What is haring? Hiring? That is always going on.
Most hearings are being done on Zoom at the moment.
Really wish I could help, but work with Code Enforcement. Good luck!
As far as I know, if you are referring to the 100 Gold St. location, the general public is not permitted entry at this time.
You can call 311 they will direct you through
No paperwork is being accepted by security.
All complaints, no matter what they are, must go through 311. Request for the Boro office number for the Boro u live in.
There is no mechanism to notify landlords and owners about complaints received through 311. Once a complaint is logged and routed to HPD, HPD must inspect; and inspections are unannounced by design.
The time frames vary. Is it complete? Was it mailed in? Was it walked in? There are so many variables.
You should probably address that question to your board.
You will go to violations and type in the borough and address of the place you are looking for
I don't know if this paper has to do with Section 8, but call the general hpd#by calling 311.
If you haven't already call 311 to report your situation if you have already called and made a complaint contact them again to find out the status of your complaint
What type of files? Do you mean applications? If so, we don't accept applications for Section 8 but do help with SCRIE and Mitchell Lama applications and/or issues. If the individual/s are Section 8 recipients then yes, they can drop off their paperwork on the first floor. Hope that helps.
No. The offices are closed for veterans day.
Unfortunately no, S8 is no longer open to the public; the applications are only accepted via referrals from other city agencies.
I would call.
Call mayors office and register complaint.
They need to apply for sectiin 8 housing to see if they qualify.
