Not a place focused on rebuilding families

I am not sure if this is the same place, however, it was a really supportive environment with cool responsible, respectful staff.

I was in treatment at Phoenix House for seven months. This review if for the HAUPPAUGE house. PROS: The counseling from most of the staff was excellent one on one. They allow you to have your PHONE after 30 days. You get about $150/mo from the state. Out of house visits every two weeks. A small gym. They will help you with schooling (ACCESS VR). They help you get your license back via the DAR program. They have groups for grief and loss, anger management, relapse prevention, relationships group. CONS: There's no smoking. Most rooms have bunk beds. AA only comes twice per week. The food is not great. A lot of the clients have "jail house" mentalities. Just avoid these people. The facility is old and under funded.

Google the number, call! AS OF 12-10-18 it’s bed space🤗
3 to 5 months if you do well and get through your programs. But 6 to 8 months is average, and up to 12 months if necessary.
The campus in Hauppauge is for men only. The campus at ronkonkoma has two houses ; one is for men one is for women. But there are no coed houses in this area.
Yes, after drastically reducing the population during the pandemic, there are beds available in all the houses. However, traditionally, as we get further into winter and the weather gets wetter and colder outside, many more people sign up and decide it's time for rehab, and the availability of beds steadily decreases as winter moves forward. So, get your Christmas presents early, and come join our community. What better present could you give yourself, and all your loved ones, then to stop hurting yourself doing drugs and begin to rebuild your life?
