I have been trying to find an open slot the last week just for a Regular ID Renewal (not Real ID). It feels more like a game of "elimination" more than a service. They only accept appointments for the following day and the window for scheduling an appointments starts 5pm the previous day. Literally within 5-7min after the window opens there are no other available slots ... at least have a Callendar with more days in advance so people are aware and can schedule their business accordingly rather trying every day hopping one will be faster than someone else. That's why I said it feels more like a chasing game than a service. I am sure the staff are all very friendly and do their job well, but at least for ID-related jobs plan accordingly.

Hello Mr Askins- We now make appointments on our website. If you scroll down to the tab that says "Book your appointment for Driver License, State ID and REAL ID" and click where it says "book now", you will be taken to our appointment page. We book appointments by the week. Each week opens up for booking on Monday mornings approximately two weeks out. Once all slots are booked, no further appointments will be taken until the next week opens up on the following Monday. At this time there are no available slots left for the week of 12/7. I had Iowa tags and got my tag in one day got my title week later. Just remember to sign in on the clipboard. You have to make an appoint for the driver license and they will give you info there.

You are welcome to retain your expired ID when you either renew or replace it at our office or you may obtain a replacement at our office. However, we are not able to generate a copy of your expired ID. Hope that is helpful!

If you are under the age of 18 when you apply for the permit you must hold it for 6 months before you can apply for a driver license. If you are over 18 when you apply for the permit you must hold it for 30 days before you can apply for a driver license. Hope that helps!

No they are not at this time. Currently Oklahoma has an extension with DHS so that you may use your Oklahoman driver license to board an airplane. Oklahoma will be real ID compliant in the next year or two.
