This company consistently trains their representatives to lie to their customers about cost of services. It has happened to be twice now, where I have called to downgrade a service to decrease the cost of my bill, and instead was sold a product with the assurance that "the more services I add on the lower the bill will be" and the opposite is true when the bill arrives and it is indeed higher. Then the company will make you pay that bill for extra services that you were duped into getting under the lie that " more services lower your bill". That's right, Cox, you record customer service conversations, go listen to mine.

Teller sold us on an Unlimited data plan, but instead signed us up for a phone line that we didn't need, want or ask for (20$ extra) and there's no way to remove the phone coverage that "Makes it cheaper altogether." Staff was friendly but not very transparent about the services and I'll be damned to use COX services again. Should ask a lot of questions because if you trust the clerks at the desk your bill will be 30$ more than it should be and you'll won't be getting what you asked for.
