Too bad I even have to give them a star. I've read the other reviews about the staff being so helpful, maybe you have to fall within a certain demographic. We walked around the store for a good 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. When I finally broke down and decided I needed help, I was met with a woman who had minimal interest in helping me. (I should add that no one ever proactively greeted us even after I asked for help.) Every other Talbots I've ever been to, greets us when we walk in. They ask of they can be of assistance. Not this one. However, when women of a different demographic walked in, they greeted them and were helpful to them. I had to purchase an item because I was in need and even with that, the women there let me stand on line even though there were 3 associates and only one customer at the register. Guess my money must look and feel different than the customer they were brooding over. I'll never go to this Talbots again. Makes me question if I should even continue to support Talbots anymore honestly...
