I suffer from anxiety and depression, is there a marijuana doctor that can help me... I have been on several antidepressants and I no longer want or like the affects of those medications and it was bright to my attention that should look into this

carla ward | Oct 3, 2018
Tashenna Browning | Oct 3, 2019

Erin Brown, depression and anxiety are life altering illnesses. They affect the way we think, feel and live. They can lead to PTSD and sadly, even suicide. I definitely think those should be on the list! I've struggled with both for 10 years and have been on medicine. I know the side effects of being off of them with no alternate treatment. It put me in the hospital. The studies I've read regarding the benefits of medicinal marijuana for depression and anxiety is very persuasive. Really hoping that they will become added to the list.

Do you have anything that states your qualifying condition - TBI? If so, that is all you need. We can even use your online portal if you have one.

Ohio Marijuana Card - Telemedicine Medical Marijuana Doctors | Oct 2, 2021

Hi Randy! You don't need a recommendation from a doctor, you just need to make an appointment with us. However, you should bring any relevant medical records so one of our doctors can better assess your situation. Let me know if that helps and if you have any other questions!

I’m only 19 but I have Crohn’s disease would I still be able to get an appointment an the card

Taona Woodward | Oct 2, 2020
Ron Hager | Oct 2, 2020

Look at the list of conditions (ones the patient must have, that you make ELIGIBLE). Then if you meet the qualifications or conditions listed, you make an appointment. The doc will review your medical history, etc. The determination will be made then. I hope that helps.

Do you sell the products? I cant find a dispensary closer than Cleveland.

Ambrosia Taggett | Oct 3, 2019
Matthew Ford | Oct 3, 2019

This place is just to get your license. There are more 'Dispensaries' than Cleveland. Go to Leafly.com to get locations, strain info, and more. Make sure though to go directly to the Dispensaries website, like 'the Botanist' to get up to date menus.

Are there any dispensaries in Akron that are open?

suzan finley | Oct 3, 2019
Roxanne Knafel | Oct 3, 2019

Not yet but they're ready to open the moment they get their permit. Akron is making them jump through hoops to get their permit. It's going to be on Summit Street and it's called "The Botanist" they have locations in Canton and Willoughby that's open already.

I have really bad anxiety but have never seen a doc for it. Would it still be possible to get approved?

James Poncar | Oct 3, 2019
Mookemama | Oct 3, 2019

Matt is probably right really do think you need medical records showing your condition.. But don't hurt to call & ask.. Good luck 🤞

m.A.K. The Great | Oct 3, 2019

I don't know? My guess if its irretractable (not easily managed/governed by other medication) , you'll have to have a paper from your primary doctor saying something like that. My guess..

And since you can’t yet get marijuana in Ohio what is the point of paying all that money for a while year waiting for dispensaries to open. Then paying for another year.

And the 4th time

I’ve heard the medical marijuana card is only for CBD and that you are not allowed to test positive for THC while having the card. This is very confusing can you clear this up?

MasterPeace Therapy | Oct 3, 2019
Michael Clark (Kassura) | Oct 3, 2019

The card applies to both thc and cbd products. As far as testing, an employer could still fail you for testing positive as there is no current legislation preventing them from doing so.
