AC Hotel by Marriott Denver Downtown

This AC is a great hotel. Yes, the rooms are a bit small and there isn't a lot of storage, but people complaining about this aren't familiar with AC properties. The lobby is modern with a pool table, several bars, and a restaurant. The breakfast is great and not too expensive. Rooms are clean, modern, and have good views. The TVs are smart/internet TV capable which is great. The windows have a great curtain/shade system that is very easy to use. Hotel Parking is unfortunately overpriced at around $50 per day Valet - I found a nearby garage that charged $13 for 24 hours about 2 blocks away at the mall.

It's a nice hotel and the location is good but it's really geared toward a solo business traveler. The rooms are on the small side and there is minimal storage if you wanted to unpack. No place to store a suit case except maybe a single carry on size. Housekeeping was spotty at best. 4 night stay and on day 3 they forget to replace all the towels, asked at the front desk, said someone would be right up, never came. Day 4 apparently our room was 'somehow skipped" for service. The most important advice I can give if you are considering staying here ... DO NOT STAY ON THE 20th FLOOR ESPECIALLY ROOMS 2001 - 2009. I was in room 2002 and at the end of the hallway is the entrance to the rooftop bar and the gym. The door starts opening and slamming between 5am and 6am with the gym crowd, continues all day and then picks up again into the evening with the bar crowd. Not sure what kind of design puts guest rooms next to high traffic public spaces.

I stayed here in Oct of 2020 and completely forgot to leave a review. This hotel is in my top 3 for sure. Absolutely loved the rooms, the staff, the amenities and the atmosphere. Covid did restrict housekeeping from entering rooms and there were no microwaves or fridge in the room at the time but no big deal for me. Everyone was so helpful, sweet and just made our stay overall a memorable one. I’m not an easy person to please when it comes to rooms and hotels tbh. I feel most are overpriced and they under deliver but I just can’t understand why this is only considered a 3-star hotel. Love it here and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The room is rather small but that's not the problem. There are no drawers or even a place to lay out your suitcase. There's no closet, just a pole to hang your clothes by the door. The workspace is simply a small shelf, barely big enough to fit a laptop. The bed and shower are great. Not a good room if you need to work for business. I also don't like the fact there's no place to put my socks and underwear. No microwave either by the way. The tiny thing that I think is a coffee maker is just strange, not sure how to use it. The restaurant is amazing and a great rooftop bar. Great service. Just a block from the convention center. But the room is a big disappointment.
