This place is one of the only places you can get help in charles county and the people who work here are mean and rude. The lady who was supposed to help treated me so mean and was rude to me. I asked to talk to a manager and no one called me. I left an refuse to come back anymore. I would rather live in a cardboard box then deal with this place anymore. I have needed some help in the past an they get a lot of information only to tell me they can’t help or go to ask churches. Every time I talk to someone there they are mean an rude to me even the upper managers. I see other people are having problems with them two am we need to get a petition to make them hire people that care about people who are having bad times in their life. None of them care. I heard they have a shelter they are opening I would not tell my worst enemy to go there, they are so mean they look at you like they hate you, and they treat you like you are a waste of time. My advice is to stop wasting people time if you don’t want to help them and try to be nice to people. I have a lot of financial struggles when you are mean it makes my problems so much worst. I talked to people on the van go bus an we all had a story the same way about how mean they are to us. Some of us take 3 buses to get there to be to be turn away an mean. They will call your cell phone with a mean attitude. Another guy at the bus stop said they did him that way an they won’t change. We don’t know who to tell because the mangers is the problem to

Lifestyles has a homeless shelter that runs from October to April they also have 2 women transitional houses ones called marthas place and the other is gales place those mostly focus towards women of domestic violence there is also a shelter for women and children called Angel watch that I believe is in hughesville but first step is to call them and they will probably get you to come down there amd fill out paper work but if worst comes to worse if the temperture is below freezing social services will put you in a hotel for the night
Social Services does but only during the winter time when the temperature is below freezing and you cant get into the safenights program ran by lifestyles
