OYO Hotel Shelby MT Hwy 2 & I-15

I booked this hotel in April. I arrived yesterday (June 18) only to be told that they had cancelled our reservation because they couldn’t reach me. Well I was in Glacier Nat Park all day and there is no service. Thankfully Kim at the front desk was great and did everything in her power to get me a room. We did eventually get a room however it was the last one and the walls had mold by the window, the paint was peeling, the floors creak and feel like you will fall through, and when we woke up I found a bed bug on my arm then a few more on my belongings. This hotel is not good, especially not for the price of $90+ Per night, however Kim at the front desk is super nice and really helpful.

excellent value. but TV had no remote. which is a big no no. anytime a room is cleaned, the cleaning person should make sure the remote is working and is left right next to the TV. I did let them know upon checkout I couldn't find the TV remote. I didn't complain right when I got my room (it's just to much of a hassle to change rooms once I have unpacked). if the price wasn't so good, I would have given a 1/5 rating (as this is a pretty big screwup). but the excellent value warrants at least a 3/5 rating. thank you. oyo motel in shelby. if I am in the area I will be staying there again. but next time, I will ask upon checkin that you make sure my room has a TV with a remote.

The lady at the desk helped me with a huge problem, BOOKING.COM tried to charge me for 4 people and 2 nights. Kim canceled the error that BOOKING.COM made and she made things right. The rooms are exquisite, updated and super clean! My Veteran Administration service dog was no problem. This place is a must stay! Thank you Kim and Shelby MT OYO.

It was a little scary for us to book a two star hotel but when you are travelling with pets, options are limited. The staff here were extremely welcoming and friendly. The location is great. Room was clean.
