I'll start this review by saying that I grew up in Columbus Ohio, not far from the original Bob Evans farm, so I am quite familiar with the original service, food, and amenities of Bob Evans restaurants. The food is overpriced and quite frankly it was bad. My whole wheat toast had an off-putting smell, along with artificial margarine on it. The sausage is not at all like the original recipe. They private label their ketchup, which is bad and has high fructose corn syrup in it. I got the rise and shine breakfast for $9.19 which includes your choice of meat, eggs, potatoes, and toast. For $12.69 you can get the whole hog, which has sausage patties, sausage links, bacon, country ham, a pancake, French toast, and potatoes. So for an extra $3.50 you can get bacon, sausage links, country ham, French toast, and a pancake. You figure it out. This chain was starting to decline when I left Columbus in 2017 and it hasn't improved at all, and in fact, has gone downhill even further. This is one of the few times in my life when I have not finished a breakfast because of the food quality.
