I don't know if they take Apple Pay. The web site says cash or credit cards, also checks, if you are going in person. Make an appointment or they will not let you in. You can go early and get the paperwork that you need to fill out before your appointment. Ask then if you can pay with apple pay.

Requesting it from the state where you live should not cost more than $35. Be careful using any old online service..instead go to the Dept of Vital records in the state where you were born. Using online services can cost as much as $150 and they won't do anything special than going direct to the source.

Call and make appointment first due to covid restrictions. Then make sure they tell which form you need. Have fill out correctly before arrival along with other supporting documents as required. And another thing know the name of the person you spoke with fir the just incase. Because that office is very unprofessional, staff nasty to customers. They act like they're doing you a favor. You will need to go to the Montgomery County courthouse to obtain from the Clerks office. But call them first to verify.

When you go in person they make a copy and hand it to you. You have to wait for your number, pay for it and that is when they hand it to you. No mailing at all.
