Used to be a beacon of beautiful European music.... now they put out the circus and other trash. Don't call yourself a "Symphony Hall", Meyerhoff.

Amazing building, great seating. Incompetent seating staff. We had to find out own seats, then 3 times we were told we were in the wrong seat, 2 of those times were after the performance stated. When in fact we were in the right spot.

Wonderful experience listening to the BSO and Ledisi
How does the new parking situation work? Do I place my parking ticket in the white machine instead of giving it to the attendent?
Do I get a receipt to put in my car?

There was an attendant at the booth in the Calvert garage who just looked at the ticket and waived us through. At the end, the gate was open to just exit.
When will the Myerhoff reopen to the public after the Covid 19 restrictions?
1) why not release empty seats to local kids who have never experienced the BSO?
2) Are tickets for challenged kids ever reduced in price?

These are probably better to ask the management of the BSO
Can I get replacement tickets for ones I misplaced during my recent move to the Charlestown Retirement Community? My current address is 719 Maiden Choice Lane, Apt. HR 611, Catonsville, MD 210882.
I've never had an issue parking on the street within a block or so. There's a garage right across the street that is very convenient, but it is an absolute pain to get out once a big performance is over.
It was created by the City of Baltimore in 1916. James Preston was mayor. Coincidently, or not, the Meyerhof Symphony Hall fronts on to Preston St. The Symphony became a private organization in 1942. The hall was built in 1982.
