I've everything from the most casual (jeans, t shirt and sneakers) to black tie. I don't think I'd wear shorts there. Feels good to dress up for the symphony...

I don't know what the policy is, and while I believe in infornality, I would respect the institution and maintain decorum above short wearing. Of course it also depends on the event, but I would thin it would be a rare event at the Meyerhoff where shorts would be unconditionally appropriate.

There is no dress code but almost no one would wear shorts. Recommend at minimum kaki psnts, button doen shirt. I alway wear a tie and jacket.
