I don't know how many stars to give because due to current COVID-19 restrictions, I have been unable to visit with my mother since her admission a little over 2 weeks ago. I am writing here because I am encouraged that the owners take time to review these reviews and comments and do reply. I hope with all my being that the positive reviews are more of the experience that my mother is having. It is difficult to discern as the phone system there leaves a lot to be desired. It can be terribly frustrating trying to get through from the reception operator to the first floor nurses desk. That and the phone in my mothers room is not working and when I do get through, someone has to take her a mobile phone. I must say though, that when I do get through, I have found the staff to be kind and helpful in getting a phone to her. I have spoken with several admin personal who all present as being understanding and professional. I will be able to see my mother and the facility finally this coming weekend. I hope to be able to come back and give a stellar rating, not just the 2 stars I needed to give in effort to make this post. I do hope that I receive a reply from someone based on this post in effort to reassure me that I made the right decision to send her there, based on thee information provided from the service coordinator at GWUH. I was told that physicians and interns from the hospital follow the patients sent from there to Inspire. Please please please be what my mother needs for LTC. I anticipate a few more sleepless nights until I can hug my mum again. UPDATE OCTOBER 20, 2021 I am so pleased to report that within 24 hours, a representative from Inspire Rehabilitation & Health Center reached out to me in effort to assist me personally with any concerns that I had in regards to my mother. He was not only helpful, he was most professional and kind. He was able to alleviate any issues that I had as far as communication and pending visitation. Based on this, what may seem a small gesture to others, however is a huge gesture to me, I have changed my star rating from 2 to 5. I have been reassured that I have made a best decision for my mother, based on the criteria that is most important to me at this time. Thank you Mr. B and Ms. C. for all of your efforts. Update: 9/5/2022 I just wanted to give an update on my mothers care at Inspire Rehabilitation & Health Center and reiterate how pleased we both are with the staff and administration there. I won't wax on too long, but the staff and administration there continue to far exceed my expectations for any care facility for seniors. Long story short, my mother was moved from a room that she was well familiar with to a brand new renovated room on another floor. The room is beautiful and ever so fresh. A minor hiccup with her bedside phone was addressed and resolved, once again in less than 24 hours. Brilliant. However the most wonderful thing was that when I was visiting with her, a staff member from her previous floor came up to check in on her during her lunch break. I can't tell who was more happy to see the other, but I can tell you that I was happier than either one of them. I'm not crying. You're crying, LOL. But seriously though, I promised not to carry on too long. I am so grateful to every employee there from the janitorial staff, receptionists, the direct care givers and nurses aides, the PT and OT therapists, nurses and director. I sleep well at night knowing that my mother is in good hands, with people on every level are professional in their responsibilities, but too really and truly care about their residents. They are not there to just collect a pay check and get through the day. They are there because they are dedicated professionals who do what they do because they care. They care not just for the residents, but too for the families who have left their loved ones in their care. I am in awe of them all.

My mother was a resident at Inspire Rehabilitation and Health Center from November 2021 to her untimely death in January 2022. The staff at Inspire was exceptionally nice and took good care of my mother, making her last days comfortable. I was kept up to date on my mother’s deteriorating health. She became difficult to manage because of Dementia but the staff showed professionalism and patience in calming her down and getting her to eat. I was able to make virtual appointments with ease, to speak with her during the periods the facility was not allowing visits because of COVID restrictions. While my mother was a resident at Inspire, I got to witness the dedication and hard work of this profession. Taking care of incapacitated ones is a difficult responsibility. I was impressed with the dedication and attention the staff at Inspire displayed with the patients the time my mother was a resident there. Thanks and keep up the excellent work. It was truly appreciated by me.

My brother was at Inspire from Jan 19, 2022 to March 20, 2022. There were some small adjustments. But, he got settled in OK. Niki in the finance office is the reason why I am giving a 5 star rating. She was extremely helpful and proactive in assisting me with various concerns to get my brother an extended temporary stay at Inspire while awaiting the assignment of an aide to assist my brother when he came home. Niki helped me to coordinate efforts with other respective Inspire personnel, and was extremely instrumental in assisting me with information needed after my brother's discharge. Yes, other personnel at Inspire was helpful because it takes a team. But, Niki was the shining star that elevated my rating from a 3+ to a 5 star. Niki is a caring and sincere professional and makes herself available via her cell phone after hours. Bravo to Niki for making Inspire a place where families can bring their love one. For these reasons I would recommend Inspire to others because they (especially Niki) strive to make their love one's stay a 5 star rating.
