Right Turn completely changed my life! I am very grateful for all the staff and some of the clients. Everyone was absolutely there for me and they didn’t even know me! I’m 4 years pain med free thanks to those 28 days!!!

Ok... So my husband is on his third dui . He has a court date set in next few weeks . He told me he decided to go to this facility to work on himself and save our marriage. I know he went to help his court case . He left this past Friday and came back today (which is Sunday ). I ask him how it was . His story was so odd . If I didn't hear his voicemail. I wouldn't thought he went . He stated only ate bologna and cheese sandwiches and. Everyone slept in one open room . He said counseling was great because one one. I looked at the photos for this establishment and I saw people sitting at table, eating together. So after two hours since being home . I check on him in basement and he has empty bottle in his lap . He tells me he isn't drinking what I see is wrong . I'm dealing with a person with severe mental issues. Weekend stay at this facility couldn't help him .

I went in expecting hope and recovery, but all I saw was clients hooking up, creating drama, and sneaking in contraband. People were getting high nearly every day as people on the work release program would simply bring everyone drugs on their way home from work. People also had phones, as well as other electronic devices they snuck in. Staff is ultimately incompetent, don’t let them convince you you have a chance in court because you’re doing their program. I roughed out the month of hell and was just recently released from prison. 0/5, wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Walking into RightTurn was a scary situation. The unknown and uncomfortable scenarios that played out in my head wasn’t even close to the experiences I encountered. In the beginning while sitting in the lobby feeling like the world was on my shoulders I hade to fill out all this tedious paperwork. I now know it’s there to protect my anonymity and confidentiality. I just didn’t know what to expect. From the moment I walked in I was met with a level of respect I haven’t been given in a long time. It made me feel at ease. I was introduced to everyone and I’m not good at remembering names but a smile and kind words are really memorable. Id like to tell you I love everyone I met at Right Turn but it’s just not the case. Their program, the way the messages are delivered, the way the group facilitators speak, the outside meetings that are brought in it made me feel like they said everything I couldn’t every emotion I felt was being said by another individual I instantly related. I was given an assessment, peer to peer counseling and private talks with my counselor it gave me the ability to speak on how i was feeling, what I felt and what was on my mind it opened me up to see areas in my life where I kept falling short. Music group, Art group and round robins allowed me to express my pain and excitement in a different way. Individual and community based groups gave me a perspective from other people’s pain and suffering. We all have different stories but the same plot. I heard what I needed to hear. All I wanted was some help. I’ve had enough. I wanted to stop drinking and drugging. I want a better life for myself. For my family. I just didn’t know how to stop. I wanted just one more day clean and sober. I wanted the pain to stop. I’ve come to realize “I am not alone”. The staff at Right Turn isn’t walking around in lab coats and text books. Telling me how I should feel or act. So phony. It’s the total opposite. I was allowed my process. Each and everyone of them have been thru what I’ve been thru. Some a little more. Lol. Some a lot less. We found common ground to relate and express ourselves. I was talked TO and not talked AT. Thank you RightTurn Impact.
