Stayed here in February to go cross country skiing. We had some type of package that included breakfast and dinner and I wanted a hot tub so we chose the Amster Cottage which can only be booked from their website. I had found this hotel on hotels.com but the only way to be guaranteed Amster Cottage, again, is to book from their website or calling. Amster Cottage is literally the closest building to Jackson Ski Touring Foundation and you can actually ski in ski out from your back door. There is a hot tub outside in the courtyard only available to the 4 units in the building. We used it every night and never saw anyone else out there. Now of course it was cold walking out there but very refreshing. Our suite was large and a little chilly but with the fireplace and space heaters, it was perfect. The hot water did take about 5 minutes to get warm though. There were plenty of towels and the bed was super comfortable. Beautiful old property. We booked dinner over a month in advance which is very hard for a spontaneous person like me to do. I have no idea if I'm going to be hungry at 6:15 on a Sunday evening 30 days out. Lol But it worked out fine. Like I said, dinner was included in our room but gratuity and alcohol are not included. The first night we ate there, we were informed dinner was a 4 course meal: 2 appetizers, an entrée and a dessert. With one cocktail each, our bill at the end for the cocktails and tip was $60. That being said, the service and food were both excellent. However, 4 courses was way too much food for me. I was good with 1 appetizer and an entrée. But I enjoyed trying all kinds of different items over my stay. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage through the hotel. My therapist was sweet but there was nothing deep about it. The property is beautiful and it's a lovely place to stay in Jackson. Head to Autumn Nomad Cafe for coffee and lunch, it's within walking distance and amazing. I also highly recommend snowmobiling with Northern Extremes and doing a horse drawn carriage ride with Nestlenook Farm. And make a trip to North Conway too!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable, we love the fireplace. In the bathrooms… Wow! We often try to find a place that has a jacuzzi in the bathroom and usually we are slightly disappointed by the size or feature, but this one was AMAZING! The complimentary breakfast was also delicious!

Fantastic place for a getaway! The private hot tub was such a luxury, and the fireplace was a nice touch, especially with the cool fall nights. Service in the restaurant was very good, while the lounge needed a bar back or second bartender to help keep up with the volume. The dinners were all great, though four courses were a LOT of food! My favorites were the short rib and butternut squash soup. Breakfast was a bit short on selection but the quality more than made up for it. Coffee was excellent. Overall a wonderful stay. We stayed for three nights, and had dinners and breakfast included.

Yes they are in operation. Sitting in a hot tub while snow is falling is quite magical .
Annie the resident dog hangs out in the lobby, not sure if pets allowed in rooms. Contact the Wentworth and they will confirm.
