So today was my second day here. I only gave them 4 stars , because when I went to use the rest room, the stall ( the big one , the first stall ) I had to hold the door shut because the lock doesn't reach where it's suppose to , so the door can't be secured. All the workers behind the desk were really nice . They are working under some stressful things going on . Ppl angry because they're benefits got cut off, or because they have to wait , or both. It's not the fault of the workers , they have computers that are freezing , a system that .....has issues. Try not to be the person that makes things worse for them , they are trying to help you, but they don't make the rules and regulations , but they do have to follow them . Please....it's a long wait, I made sure I had the whole day free, your not waiting any longer than anyone else , it's going to be whatever you make it , ease up a bit , if you want to be upset , then contact whoever is in charge of social services . Be nice to the workers behind the desk , this isn't their fault.

If you are trying to recertify for snap go up there. Sign into the tablet click redetermination. Once your name is called, explain to them your situation, they will put you in the wait list to talk with a social worker over the phone. Make sure to bring all of your documents in case they don't have them in the system. Best of luck to everyone!

Phones do not go further than your first selection. It seems as though the system is programmed to hangup as soon as it hears the beep of a number being pushed.

No! Most of these people were welfare recipients themselves hamster lack of professionalism, morals, values and just everyday manners and patience since we have to treat people individually! You will find some people who care Miss rights I think her name is at the Anne Arundel County Social services is amazing and she gets things done but that's one and very many and few and far between but I will say that Anne Arundel county is better ran business as far as Social services goes because they don't allow nonsense of any kind and they will send you home with out your money giving you another day to come back if you don't comply with their rules as far as eating drinking your kids your cell phones etc etc but there are plenty of benefits available to all of us I am disabled and a single mom but they don't advertise these benefits you have to do your own self research and homework and dig and if anybody out there has a child suffering from an autism any chance of that perspective room spec
I am awaiting a decision from SSDI as well @ until I hear that I was approved mmmget an answer I receive Temporary cash assistance from social services it is a set amount of $213.l had to sign a form agreeing to pay the money that I received from social services back once my disability gets approved. I was mad at first that they cut me off because I began to receive unemployment And even the unemployment and the disability TCA still doesn’t cover my bills and it’s not my fault that the pandemic happened and the company closed that I worked for
No i was just there Friday and the lady said they are closed
Yes, you can apply online at mydhrbenefits.dhr.state.md
I was there this past Friday and they said they only do prescription s and getting homeless place in a shelter for the weekend. They don't do eviction help or food stamps.
You can order a new card online. Visit the MD EBT website to submit a request.
Your best bet would be to go up there and speak to someone. Their website is super jacked up and the customer service hotline is very backed up.
You can do it on there website
You should go in person to the office.
The office is closed to speaking with caseworkers . If you are dropping g off papers there is someone too take it place it in a locked trashcan and will be processed in que
If you live in Anne Arundel County, then yes. Otherwise you need to go to the county offices for the county you live in.
This is a unorganized State Agency.
Picture I.d. is a must
I'm just guessing that you can print a copy from the website providing yoh have a printer. If not go to the court house, sign in on sign in pads. You will have choices to pick, my suggestion is to pick ask a question. That should get you in & out the fastest!
It's a separate website. I think Marylandhealth.gov
