Horrible experience. 2 friends and I purchased 2 day passes. Somehow one of my friends pass got scanned and "activated" a month before we even arrived in NY, by someone else. New York pass obviously issued the same pass number twice, I've seen other reviews saying this also happened to them. Trying to explain to customer service was a nightmare. So 2 of us have passes but one doesn't. With a pass most things don't require reservations. But without, you have to get tickets beforehand, which we didn't do, thinking we ALL had passes we paid for!!! So we lost half a day out of the 2 days we were here trying to figure this out. Customer service offered a 1 day pass and that is all they could do about it. RIDICULOUS we pay for something and don't get what we pay for. Customer service didn't care. 1 day pass or nothing. Go with a different city pass!!!!! This one I will never support again.

I have mixed feelings about this pass. The application of the pass on site in New York worked great. It was accepted everywhere and the instructions in the app were very helpful. I think the promise to be able to cancel the pass before use is an empty promise. I can't say enough good things about customer service. Unfortunately, we booked the pass twice (my girlfriend also booked it for me), so I wanted to cancel the pass I had bought straight away. According to the website this is possible and you should contact customer service. No response after 2 requests via the service form. When I was in New York, I called customer service and the cancellation was confirmed over the phone. I still haven't received a written confirmation or a refund. Therefore unfortunately no recommendation!

If you are going to NY to sightsee you must get this pass. It saved us so much time and money! In 4 days we were able to see everything that we planned. We had no issues at all. Be sure and read the rules and note where you need reservations. Look online you can usually find a discount off the price.

With the QR on the mobile it's worth it. However, if it is during the week you will have no problem entering the Empire. I also tell you that NyPass is no longer what it was before the Pandemic. They removed many visits and venues, such as Madisson, the Yankees stadium, etc.

Their website has a downloadable version. I put it on my phone and referred to it several times before my trip. When we picked up the passes in New York they gave us a printed version. You could call and see if they would send that to you if you cant download.

The ticket price is expensive in NY. The pass is very useful if you are a regular at museums and are willing to enjoy all the activities they offer. The pass is fully amortized and you save between 60 and 70% if you have days to make visits and tours.
