Nice spot except for the band of marauding raiders that claim this area as their territory. Half of my group were takin in the middle of the night never to be seen again.

Quiet, secluded campground on a creek. Best nights of sleep ever listening to the water flowing! Easy to get a site during summer and close to town, things to see. Bring your own water or boil it! There is a hike in campground that has its own private "beach", fire pit, and picnic table. The trail begins on the east side of the campground.

Close enough to town for convenience and far enough from town to feel like you're in the wilderness. Camp sites are well maintained. Two toilet locations. No water or electricity. Several camp sites are right along the stream offering you that babbling brook ambience. Fairly well shaded. Plenty of level tent space in each plot.

This is a nice quiet, first come first serve, campground. The creek runs along side half the campsites. About the only thing I do not like is the vault toilets and the distance you must walk to get to one, especially during the night.

First come first serve. Current rates are $10 for a single site and $20 for a double.
