The site is nicely shaded after a full day in the sun. There are no campsites next to the water. The walk to the water is very steep. There is no boat launch or easy access to the water if you have a large inflatable water toys, aka kayak. The most unfortunate part of our stay was the bathrooms. I read the reviews that said "clean bathrooms." The first bathrooms we used were port-o-pottys that were veryyyy full and disgusting. We are usually dispersed campers and when we stay and pay at a campsite, it's usually a nice little place to relax and almost feels luxurious. This did not live up to the price we paid.

RLCG was clean, beautiful and had kind staff. We enjoyed the play structure with our seven--year-olds, a near by waterfall hike my kids like to scramble over rocks and logs and geocaching. The only bummer was that the lake is not easily accessible at all it was difficult to take our paddle boards down to the waterfront and it is very small. This is not necessarily the fault of the park because I’m sure there are restrictions although it would be helpful to have this indicated on the website.

New Management has really made this place a much better campground to stay at. Always renovating the area and improving it. Paved roads to the campsites down near the lake and better spots for rv use.

Been coming here since 2020 - super clean sites and very well maintained campground. Owners/management are EXTREMELY prompt in responding to ANY issues or problems. Looking forward to our next trip to see what changes the new owners bring - so far the paved 'roadway' and fresh/additional gravel at campsites is +++

Cabins are not equipped with T.V. or cable. In fact phones get spotty service.
Two for sure but maybe squeeze a little Ruben for two more
It's your own camp space. There's showers canoe rentals a very peaceful place for sure
Unfortunately no, however you can trailer your boat and keep it in the parking lot, or your campsite, overnight.
Not really, except along the lake
I don't believe so. You used to be able to camp on the logging road up near the dam, on the east side of the lake, but they closed it down
The cabins have bbq pits and some tent sites have grates on their fire pits.
I don't know but there is alot great camping boating there done a little fishing to its peaceful there
