Would recommend to anyone traveling on Rt 12 passing through Mossyrock! We stopped on our way from Mt Rainier to Oregon. The burgers were delicious and the staff was extremely friendly! If we didn't live in NJ, we would frequent this spot for a bite to eat often. Hope to go back one day o. A return trip to the area.

In Mossyrock for one day visiting family and decades long residents. Made the mistake of deciding to eat lunch at the Pioneer Bar & Grill. The dark haired short gal cooking the food was the most rude restaurant staff I've ever encountered. Rude with a capital R!! I really wanted to go off on her and call her the b**ch that she was being in front of God and everyone, my sense of proper public behavior and manors prevented me from doing so. Spending 70 dollars on an order to go and only spending a few minutes inside...this woman managed to speak to me extremely rudely 3 times. It was as though she had just got into a bad fight with her spouse or someone and then had to cook for the public immediately after. How unlucky can I be to have chosen this place with this angry woman PMS'ing at work like a runaway rhino in heat!! Ridiculously pathetic service ruining lunch for myself and my family of five. I will never be back to this restaurant and will tell everyone I know about the horrible service to all my friends in 4 large local Washington fishing club chapters who visit Riffe and Mayfield lake 4 times a year minimum. Do not visit the Pioneer Bar & Grill. You will leave angrily at the way you were treated thinking no damn burger is with worth putting up with a woman like that. Service was less than 0 if I could rank it that low, I would but the lowest was a 1 and that was extremely generous. Worst place in MossyRock hands down.
