I came to Hoboken Tech when my MacBook Pro screen suddenly stopped working. Jeff was super helpful, ordering a new screen, and when that didn’t work, trying to resolve the issue other ways. I had dropped off my laptop with a three week deadline as I was leaving to travel for ~5 weeks, and Jeff was super accommodating with making sure I had a solution before that time and updating me whenever I checked in. Eventually he told me the laptop repair would be as expensive as a new computer, and offered to instead transfer my data to a comparable MacBook he had in store. (I decided to purchase a new one from Apple because I was overdue for an upgrade). I didn’t have to pay anything, because my laptop couldn’t be fixed. Highly recommend.

This had to be the most unprofessional company and customer service I ever had to deal with. We dropped off my laptop + my wife's laptop to get fixed. The main guy @ Hoboken Tech never gave us any updates. We had to try calling chasing for any news for weeks. He said would have it fixed by a certain time and call us with an update that never happened and then never respond to our calls or when he did days later would come up with some nonsense excuse. To the point, we had to buy a different laptop for work because couldn't wait anymore. It got to the point that he stopped answering the phone completely, kept ignoring our calls for +1 month. I finally had to take off work to go there today to pick it up or try to talk to the guy because he wouldn't answer the phone. 4 months later, the laptop wasn't still fixed. At this point, I just wanted my laptops back. He had the nerve to say "the laptop was still open, that he would close and return it. That it would have been another 15 minutes"... Unbelievable. I finally get home and notice the screws under the laptop case are missing, so the bottom is loose. I'll just order screws or take them somewhere else. I highly suggest to not stress yourself and take your business somewhere else.

Thank you for the great question. We have been doing all pick ups and drop offs outside and not allowing people inside for extra safety. We sterilize all equipment when dropped off with ultraviolet lights and do another cleaning before giving the equipment back after it’s been fixed.
Hi Tito - I am sorry I just saw this, not sure when you posted it. We fix software issues with game systems but not hardware problems. It's too tough to find parts for them unfortunately.
