This is a terrific museum dedicated to Hoboken: not too big, great collections and website, knowledgeable and friendly staff, wonderful lecture series, films, oral history projects, and children's programming.

Great little museum about Hoboken, loved the old photos which put the history in to context.

Sundays in Hoboken...What an amazing opportunity for all small businesses to come together supporting each other and our community! This venue setting provides our neighborhood the chance to meet and shop from such unique, one of a kind vendors and conveniently all under one roof!! Thank you immensely to Bob of the Hoboken Historical Museum as he welcomes everyone with open arms!!! A huge shout out and recognition to Wendy, Estela and Ayana...your smiles for miles and overflowing hearts of love, support and understanding, I am truly and forever grateful for everything and thank you for being simply you!!! Sincerely and with warmest regards, Mary P

the first museum I visited in the USA. The environment is great and all staffs are friendly and warm. I learnt lots of history about the Avenue and Hoboken. I am not good at name memory, but I really would love to say thanks to Barb, Victoria and Ritz, they made me a good afternoon. I also got a walk map from the museum and I do hope that I can walk around Hoboken a deep trip. The music and photography are excellent too. If you are new here, it’s a great place to connect you more with your future home.

Questions & Answers

I was referred to you, Hoboken Historical Museum. I am doing a personal family history research, need to know, where were in-bound ships from Naples, Italy, docked in New York Harbor, N.Y., in the 1950s, more specifically 5/29/51 aboard Saturnia?

When you go there they are very kind and will help you. I bet this is right up their alley!

HOW LONG IS THE DRIVE FROM STATE COLLEGE, PA. TO SINATRA'S MUSEUM

There is no actual Sinatra museum, but the Hoboken Historical Museum does have a small section devoted to him. Your can also pick up a map of the Sinatra Walking Tour, including his birthplace, school, church, etc. The drive from State College, in light traffic, would be 3 hrs 45 min -- 4 hrs.

My family lived and had a grocery store on Meadow Ave in the 1870's. It's not on a map now. Where was Meadow Ave., Hoboken?

Hi. Park Avenue used to be Meadow Avenue.
