I went in today to get measurements to be a groomsmen in a wedding and the guy running the business was very rude and arrogant. He told me I couldn’t get measurements unless I rent from their business. I just went there last year and was able to get measurements for a small fee. Now all of a sudden I am ignored and he told me he didn’t care and go to Mens Warehouse. I do not recommend this place of business!

I have used The Tailor Shop several times over the last 5 years for tailoring and alterations. If you are a guy with good quality suits, I am not sure why you would go anywhere else. Nobody else in Jacksonville knows how to handle and/ or fit brands like Zegna, Canali, Brioni like Daniel does. He understands the value and quality in these brands and doesn’t do anything less than an exceptional job so they don’t come out looking altered, they come out looking bespoke. On top of that, his actual bespoke options are endless and he uses super nice quality materials. If you like classic mens style, you can’t go wrong here. You can trust him for your tailoring, bespoke, and more! Thank you The Tailor Shop for always being exceptional!

I initially got my alterations at a different shop. I felt something was off and wasn't super happy with how the dress was fitting me, it was bunching around my stomach in a strange way and the buttons down my back were facing different directions. I only had a week before my wedding at this point. My gut told me to get a second opinion, so I took my dress to Daniel, which my boutique and a friend recommended. I'm so glad that I did! He was quick to give his expert opinion about fixes needed, including taking out some extra lace that was causing the bunch and replacing a panel of loops for the buttons because they had become stretched out. He worked with my boutique directly to get a panel that matched the color of my dress and stayed up until 2am to stitch the panel onto my dress. He was so sweet and understood the urgency of the wedding date. He turned around the gown in 2 days!! Not only did the dress look incredible, it also felt more comfortable and made all the difference on the day of my wedding (wearing it for 12 hours!). From my first interaction with Daniel, I knew he was extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his profession. Not only that, but it makes all the difference when you feel like someone truly cares -- he worked with empathy, heart, and passion, and would recommend his services to anyone!

Daniel created a formal, floor length dress for my son’s wedding that was beyond my imagination! The color, fabric and design were so beautiful and flattering! He was always available for questions/discussions and he went above and beyond in every way to make sure my dress was perfect. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed I am with the quality of his vision and craftsmanship!
