Dr. Manuel Diaz, who practices with the Gainesville Internal Medicine Physicians group, has been my primary care physician since 2003. He was recommended to me by Dr. Steven Roark, and was described to me as a gentleman with the emphasis on "gentle" by my sister who is also a patient. I feel well taken care of that includes professional, compassionate attention by Dr. Diaz and his nurse, Liza, who have an engaging manner. The reception staff are professional and welcoming. The well appointed office is located in a lovely setting and is well maintained with short wait times and quiet ambience.

I was recently prescribed an injectable medicine. I was not aware it was an injectable until I was speaking to the nurse via telephone re:script issues. I have no issues with shots or donating blood if I NEVER see the needle. The prospect of injecting myself so caused me anxity and dread I advised the nurse I may just pass on the meds for another type. She told me to come in!! She patiently and confidently took me through all the steps and I injected myself. This was a miracle! I thanked her over and over for her kindness. She responded it was her job. However, few folks offer up personal help. You usually have to ask/beg for it. She gave me all the confidence I needed. Yesterday I injected myself, ezpz. You should be so lucky to have Nurse HEATHER be your nurse. GIMP has a true treasure in Nurse HEATHER. I've been a happy patient for 12 years. But thrilled right now. 💖💖Nurse Heather💖💖
