Not bad especially for two families with 3 rooms having a grand old time. However the hotel is getting shabby. The bar might have LEDs downstairs but there isn't enough maintenance being done, from bad AC to aging.....everything in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was great but it was a little overwhelmed with the crowd and it wasn't a busy weekend or anything. Was it worth the price we paid? Yes but only barely. Front desk staff also left something to be desired, they failed to hold the rooms that were requested and that I had called about several times and had designated on the website when I made the reservation. They further failed to help us with properly splitting the bill despite our patience with them.

Didn’t love having to pay for parking but I realize that any downtown location area will require this. So grateful that our amazing check in clerk, Sandra, pointed out that for just a few dollars more, we could valet the car. That was definitely the best option. By the time we were done, Sandra had made me feel like family! Seemed as though all the other lines were moving a lot slower but she really shined as super competent and friendly. Thanks so much!

We absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area! Close to historic downtown with great restaurants within walking distance and less than 10 minute drive to the zoo. The free breakfast buffet was out of this world! The price for the room was very affordable. (Please take note that parking is $21 for self park and $27 for valet.) Still with that even a fantastic deal!

Hi Melanie! Thanks so much for your kind response! I couldn’t find an area to write any comments! Looks like I can now!! We are pretty “frequent fliers” at your hotel! In fact, it’s the ONLY place we stay when we are in town!! We LOVE everything about the motel. The staff is ALWAYS AMAZING and treats us SO well!! The rooms are wonderful and always clean! The complimentary nightly reception is fabulous, and Christine is the BEST!! Also, we can’t go without mentioning the most incredible and COMPLIMENTARY breakfast you’ll ever find!!! The chef is fantastic and also clearly loves his job, and there are so many choices every morning! Seriously, we cannot say enough good things about you, your staff, and your hotel!!! We even got our family “hooked” when we stayed for fun a few weeks ago!! They LOVED it, too!! We always feel so welcome when we are there-even when we’re just initially booking our stays! It’s an amazing “home away from home!” Thanks! Anna and Matt T!
