I really want to give this place a 3 but it actually is a 4 because it is above average. If you are looking for a special “Hot Springs” or some natural attraction you will be disappointed. There is plenty of open space to walk your dog and go for a walk after dinner. There are no personal campfire pits. & the community campfire pits were closed. The grounds are clean and neat. The place has a slight feeling of pretentiousness. Trailers, tent camping and tiny homes etc are available for rent. The campsites have green grass and are a decent size. They strangely have the tables situated next to the water, power and sewer of the neighbors connections rather than where your door would open. I confirmed that every sight is that way. I moved the table to a more convenient location. They probably have them there for convenience of mowing. The gift shop is updated and has a modern feel. As with most RV parks there is an active train track. As for the main attraction I was a bit disappointed… “Hot Lake” is nothing more than a mucky pond surrounded by cat tails and full of lilies. The owners have a junk pile and other misc stuff pushed up to the edge of the pond. There is a small cat tail filled ditch that heads towards the pool. The pool is pretty underwhelming it is a smaller circular pool about 3-4’ deep. The warmer pool is the size of a hotel hot tub. You wouldn’t realize that you were at a hot springs if it wasn’t for the mosquito infested ditch behind the pool with a slight off smell. So congratulations owners on reducing your heating bill and being able to advertise something special and unique about your place. If I hadn’t read the sign that it was a hot spring than I would have just thought they had an undersized pool.

One thing that should be in description of this RV resort is that this is NOT a family friendly place. The pools are not for fun, (soaking only and whispers) children might as well stay out. No jumping allowed, no laughing, and no having a good time. I was constantly harassed by staff and they had stated that my “children” were jumping into the pool and splashing, when in reality I had ONE quiet child in the pool amongst many children from other guests. I was approached multiple times and tried telling them, it wasn’t my ONE child, but the other TEN children in the pool. They did not complain to the WHITE parents but to me each time since I have TANNED/DARKER skin. The above reviews that stated racism are CORRECT. To make things worse, they red flagged my name and will not allow my little family back (never told me this to my face ) over complaints of kids splashing and using a squirt gun! We had NO pool toys. And I have ONE quiet SHY single child. I would NOT recommend this to anyone with children or anyone who is not White!!!

We just spent 2 nights at this great RV park. It was a beautiful park, very peaceful and clean. The young lady working at check-in was very accommodating and helpful, and we appreciated the reservation policies, as we were not sure if we could stay 3 or just 2 nights, and that did not need to be decided (no penalty) until we got there. The pools are beautiful and it was never crowded, restrooms/showers very nice. The setting for the park is really beautiful. One of the things I loved was the constant, lovely birdsong. The leash policy is very strict, but understandable. I hope to return someday.

Excellent stay in yurt #1! We LOVED everything about it! The floors, bed, and décor were beautiful and comfortable. Every little touch was well thought out. Perfect balance of amenities and simplicity. The Airbnb listing did an excellent job preparing us for the possibility it would be windy and noisy in the yurt. We didn't mind it one bit and thought it added to the experience. The patio area and tubs were PERFECT. One thing that really stood out was cleanliness. The bathrooms and yurt were impressively clean! We will definitely be back, and would stay in our RV, tent, or any of the lodging options. We also stayed in room 209 next door at The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs (same owners). These guys are clearly passionate about creating an unforgettable experience. Their hard work and dedication is appreciated! Hands down one of the most relaxing anniversary trips we’ve ever taken.

The public pools are closed for winter. The pools at the yurt rentals are open year round.
If you’re staying at the Tiny Home at the RV Resort, then complimentary access to the soaking pools at the neighboring business (The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs) is included. The Lodge will also be opening for day users by the end of 2021.
Not me with work I would be more interested in something like a weekend membership with maybe holidays added on but I never really thought of monthly rates just because how close I live to this place
The large public soaking pools are scheduled to open by May 1. But we always try to get them open as soon as the weather & staffing allows.
Don't know their monthly prices. One night stay was $42.
Grande Hot Springs has the RV Resort with hot springs pool & spa. There are yurts & cabins too. Completely separate from the Hot Lake hotel, which doesn't have a pool & is closing to become a veterens retreat center.
Yes
There is a second yurt under construction, may be ready mid-September. You should call to reserve, though.
