Do Not fire them. They won my case with 4 years of back pay. I was in your exact situation nearing the end of my wait. Your paralegal WILL return your call. Call, wait in the queue, it might take 10 minutes but get the name of your paralegal and ask to speak with them. If they are busy ask to have them call you back. With SSI cases and disability cases, especially those based on mental health, judges are harder to convince. I was denied 3 times, went before the judge with Mr. Shiffman and was denied again. Mr. Shiffman said they would win my appeal and they did. You must have patience. These Attornies are Great. Have faith. All will work out, they worked hard and won my case for me and they can for you. Don't worry, when your time comes, they WILL be there for you. Remember they are invested in you also and want to win your case.

Yes sometimes its a bit of a wait on the phone but I have to say they are GREAT. Stephanie Sweet was my lawyer at court date and my SSI was approved and niw there working on my son's case. I recommend them to everyone I speak with.

I'm still waiting to hear from someone! I spoke to the paralegal the other day and she said someone would be calling me soon!?!?!? My hearing is set for this coming Tuesday and I have not spoke with an attorney as of yet! I am in the middle of an SSI case with this firm. The best thing can tell you is make, and report all doctors appointments. They are on it. But you have to realize that they don't really know anymore than you. They are there to help the process along and make sure that the decisions that are made, are in your best interests. You will hear new info about the same time they do. But I will tell you, this law firm has your back.

The are the worse law firm I've ever worked with. Don't please. Absolutely no communication whatsoever!

Unfortunately they do not always base their decisions off doctor recommendations. Most claimants do not get approved until they have a hearing in front of a Judge. My boyfriend filed for SS through Rotstein amd Shiffman back in 2014, got denied and now appealing...its been an on gping case since 2014...since then he has been hospitilized almost every year..most recently having half his foot amputated due to diabetes...everyone says it takes a couple years but were going on 5 years!!! The only time we hear anything through these guys is if we persistenly call and wait 45 mins to hear them say their waiting in SS office...we call the SS office and they sent us the appeal paperwok saying thebcase was denied due to paperwork not being filed on time...very frustating...were also fighting tonget medicaid so he can get his insulin...why is it so hard for people to get help when its real yet i know others who got their SS accepted within 2 years and recieving checks for some bulls*t reason.....if Rotstein or Shiffman is reading this his name is Brian Schwenning....please let us know what we can do to get his case accepted
