Rent is skyrocketing and now there's drive-by shootings at the playground. Would not recommend moving here. Edit: Maintenance guys are great though (especially Lee)

Do not move here. I lived here for 2 years, and it was mostly wonderful. However, with the recent change in management, it's only become more and more frustrating. I'm happy I'm moving out. #1: Reconstruction noise all the time. #2: Rent is way to high for the location and what they offer. You're not in "pleasant" walking distance to anywhere. It is nice that the golf course is close by, but it's private property (meaning you shouldn't be walking on it anyways.) #3: They recently released a "trash violation" notice saying anyone who put their trash out wrong will be subjected to a $25 charge each time. I got charged this without knowing why, and when I called and asked for evidence, they said they don't take pictures and only have notes that the vendor leaves. So you get charged $25 for this, don't get notified about it, there's no picture/ evidence and you're just supposed to be ok with it. When she looked at the notes, she said the vendor put the wrong apt # and she would remove the charges. #4: The stairwells are frequently a mess. Last few days, it looked like there was stepped on dog poop or something in the middle of the stair wells. There have been times where there were massive spider webs that covered half the stairwell. #5: Maybe this is not their fault, but I've had vendors who refused to wear shoe gloves and make a dramatic scene about it. It's still my home that I pay rent for. I never had this problem with vendors prior the switch to this new company. As far as the apartments, it's decent size and maintenance is on point. I just personally would not move somewhere that makes me feel bullied (stupid charges at the landlord's discretion without any evidence) by the rental company. All of the above started happening in the past few months with the new company.

This was a great apartment complex, but has significantly gotten worse (despite the exorbitant price increase) since Preiss started owning the company and we got new management. The new management barely communicates with tenants at all and maintenance is a lot slower to respond to requests (they used to respond within a day). There have been repairs to buildings, like the roof getting replaced on buildings, but the process was so dangerous and our units were basically construction zones with nails and roof tiles all over walkways and the parking lot. The location is amazing, but management and whatever upgrades they claim they are doing to the complex is making this place terrible to live.

I do not like living here. Ive been here for 6 months now and have had no real good experience. I feel bad for the management company that just bought the complex. My wife has been absolute garbage since I’ve moved in. Currently I’ve had no WiFi for almost 3 weeks. The first time was for about a week until spectrum came out to check it and even they stated that they have WiFi issues here. I pay $57 for a whole system that I do not even get to use which is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t use the cable cause why in the world does anyone use cable. We stream everything (when there was WiFi) and even then it was extremely slow and grainy. They don’t give you the option to go get your own WiFi. Prior to management switching over I sent an extremely long email after they had reached out to me 3 times about all the issues I’ve had with this complex from moving in up to this point. The WiFi has been the biggest issue for me. The other stuff we have been able to fix on our own or was addressed months later by maintenance. I’m extremely over living at this complex and has been the worst apartment that I have lived in. At this point I spend more time away from home than I do at the apartment that just holds my stuff. 10/10 will never recommend to any friends.
