Lived here for A year. There had been a lot of crime incidents that had occurred at this property. One being shootings often and cars getting robbed, The gate has been broken since I moved in where the front of the complex is so that may have been why there was so much crime. Otherwise it would have been peaceful but there are a lot of children in this complex as well. There is a wasp issue all around the apartments that had not been dealt with. Maintenance was pretty fast at getting things done but they would still be broken even after. If you rent here make sure you thoroughly inspect your unit. They are changing management but not sure how much it will change the community but the prices have skyrocketed.

Do not- whatever you do- sign a lease at this apartment complex. The management is awful and do not fix anything whatsoever. I’ve been without central AC in my unit for MONTHS now. Maintenence told me it was an issue with the unit outside and was not sure when it could be fixed. I was given a (very old, and in terrible condition) window unit in the bedroom. The window unit leaks often, produces a foul odor and does not do anything to help cool down the rest of the apartment. I called multiple times trying to get an update on when the central unit would be fixed and they tell me they will look into it and let me know. To no avail. I finally asked for another window unit to put in the dining area to help cool down the rest of the apartment. They said they would and never did. I ended up having to purchase one myself because the heat was unbearable. On top of that, the apartment was not cleaned when I moved in, uneven counter tops, dishwasher leaks and is making the storage cabinet under the sink crumble. The water in the entire apartment will be absolutely SCALDING (has left burns on skin) while the faucet was turned all the way cold. They constantly are shutting off the water for emergency leaks. On top of all of that, it is generally unsafe. Multiple shootings in the complex, my front door lock does not work most of the time, back door lock is broken, cars being broken into and management does nothing to fix it. I regret signing this lease. I WILL be filing a complaint with the city because these conditions are absolutely unacceptable.

DON’T LIVE HERE!!!! I lived here for nearly 4 years and what started out as an apt complex with potential and promise of a new gym, upgrades, etc…quickly reverted back to old roots that caused its name to be changed from Kelly crossing. From heroin addicts overdosing in the breezeway, to laundry rooms burning down, to heroin addicts leaving needles around the complex…is now apartments literally being targeted and shot at in broad daylight. Save yourself the time and protect yourself and loved ones and choose anywhere else but here. Worst place I have ever lived. Constant trash violations, safety violations, etc…yet they continue to increase rent. Literally any other option is better than here!
