This city department is without a doubt the worst run building permit department in the entire DFW metroplex. Be prepared for endless delays and numerous unnecessary trips to handle reviews by inexperienced and unprofessional city employees.

I can't remember if it's $25 or $50, but if you go a little smaller, no permit is required for sheds less than 100 sq ft
