Beautiful place , I only had time to ride this trail head and I will say it was rough on a 650lb klr but the trails were beautiful, definitely worth checking out if you have a bike atv or side by side. I was able to get a year pass at the forest lodge for 35$ they also have daily passes for 10$. Plenty of places to camp in the area and more than enough scenery to see.

We enjoyed the ride but better signage would help.

The trails there are great for a family ride. Great for the kids to learn to ride.

Typically the trails have very light traffic. People on the trails have been friendly. We have camped there and that was nice also. I had a good experience each time I have gone. The dirt bike loop is the best part there. The trails I would say are easy to intermediate. Either way they have a fast flow.

Yes
In PA, you need a title to register it.
Need registration for sure
There's a motel on the way to the trailheads on route 66 that sells them in person
Yes registration, insurance, and you have to buy an annual or a one day pass
Awsome thank you very much for your help, I will be out there this Saturday of this week and just want to double check.
Yes, they need to be registered and insured. If you go to a Ranger Station for the permit, you will have to show them your current registration and current insurance cards. You have to put all of that info on the application for the permit. There's a Ranger Station right by the Marienville trail head.
There are trails just for 4-wheelers, but no 4 X 4 vehicles. There are some areas along the 4-wheeling trails where you can camp and a few where you can't. There's a primitive campground called Pine Camp trailhead. There are no hook-ups of any sort, but people do take their campers there. Most take a generator. I do not know of any trails for 4x4 vehicles.
ATV/UTV/Dirt bike or hiker only. You have to get a permit for your vehicle.
