My mom has been at Chapel Manor for a little over a year now and I find that she is doing very well. I visit as often as I can because I work everyday and don't drive. All the nurses that I have met that have cared for my mom have been great and take very good care of her even though she can be a handful at times, LOL! I have come to know many of them and they seem to get such a kick of her.. The times that I been there, and have observe the different needs of the patients there, I feel so sorry for them because just looking at what these nurses have to deal with on a daily basis is heartbreaking and they do it with such a wonderful attitude. My prayers are with them all. I wish them well and I pray for their health and well being, it's not an easy job and it takes a certain kind of person to do that type of job wThose folks there need you and God will continue to bless you every single day for the help, support and care that you provide those patients.

Thinking of my grandmother and her final days spent at Chapel Manor. Prior to her passing I visited as often as I could but never enough, probably, selfishly, more for me then her. Each visit I found herself and room clean. The curtains pulled back with sunshine streaming thru the windows, the small plants family members had brought her watered, waste basket and bathroom clean and fresh. I found an attentive caregiver nearby, an offer for assistance if needed and a compassionate ear to listen at anytime. If she wasn't in her room, I could find her in the common area participating in some activity or another. She was cared for at Chapel Manor, she was loved by the staff, her friends, our now family. All my gratitude to the kind and dedicated employees. Thank you for the many times you all went above and beyond, especially Ms. Leah Velez.
