Website says this is a clothing drop off location. Phone number had a really long wait time with no option to speak with someone about donations. Walked all the way there with a lot of nice clothes and was turned away after they stated they do not accept clothing donations anymore. Please update your website so we don’t waste out time.

Um, I'm assuming you mean a Chicago area bus pass. Sheila, you can go to any Walgreens, Jewel, currency exchange, or CTA train station and purchase a 1-day, 7-day, 30-day or transit fare Ventra Card. The card is $5 plus whatever else you add to it. I hope that answers your question. Go to http://ventrachicago.com for other questions.

Almost every parish in the Archdiocese of Chicago have St. Vincent the Paul and Food Pantry. Contact your closest Catholic Church from home and a staff from there will surely lend you a helping hand.
There are no guarantees but you should callbamd explain the situation. They will need information about monthly income and any health insurance benefits you currently have. Also, the state Medicaid and federal Medicare may be able to provide assistance.
Sorry I can not
It depends on what kind of homeless families , because all homeless families are not the same.
Yes, many volunteer opportunities will invite teenagers to participate. Depending on the activity. Thanks for your interest. We really rely on volunteers to assist in our mission.
