Honest Review: We had a great time up until the end. As most do in Grapevine, we spent the afternoon hopping from winery to winery for my wife’s birthday. We had a nice dinner at Dino’s with plans to visit the speak easy within the hotel around 10pm. It was important to make sure we showed up for our reservation at the speak easy because a $50 no show fee would be included if we didn’t. As our reservation time approached we signed in where we were supposed to sign in and we were told shortly after we wouldn’t be allowed access due to intoxication levels. I understood that completely knowing fully well how much my wife celebrated for her birthday. I was not upset or irrational but I did ask for confirmation we would not be charged the $50 no show fee. I didn’t receive the confirmation I requested from the person leading us to the speak easy so I asked for confirmation at the front desk. After asking the front desk clerk they asked me and my wife to wait in the lobby which seemed odd since all I wanted was a confirmation. Moments later, the same clerk and a police officer approached me and my wife in the lobby. At this time we still never received any real confirmation we would not be charged. We were both treated like two belligerent individuals when in fact everything was fully controlled. The way the hotel staff handled the situation was humiliating. In summary, if you plan to drink and visit this hotel then please expect the staff to use police force to address any matters you have about billing.

Nice and somewhat unique shops. Clean and everyone seemed pleasant. Glass Blowing shop was quite nice. Everything was decorated for Christmas, lots of families and tons of shopping going on. Parking is a bit of an issue. Some were charging $20.00 to park. Keep looking, most parking is free and it only takes a few minutes to find a better location. Go a block off Main Street to find public parking lots.

We came to the Grapevine Main with no idea what to do. Brenda suggested we do the Observation Tour and it was a blast. The tour was very informative and we saw much of the sky around the city. Brenda was a great guide and I would recommend it again. She even charged my phone.
