Itβs priced too high. ($32 per night plus fee if you reserve online - no electric, water spigot and flushing toilets) But, itβs walking distance to the lake! We were at site 39, secluded with shade (must needed at this time a year) It was pretty quiet (Wednesday-Thursday) and seems to get busier on the weekends.

Wonderful place to camp vacation and relax

Great camp site even with out showers , no powered boats on the lake so itβs super nice . The Christian camps on the other side of the lake allow the public in and can walk around the grounds / see all the wonderful activities for kids an adults . The MTB & Road riding are great and the views are Awesome . If you need a quick bath just jump in the lake ππ.

On the Christian camp parking lot yes
National Forest, Yes. National Park, No. Dogs must be on leash. Hume Lake is in the National Forest. Great trail around the lake to walk your dog.
You need to go to their website and it shows what's open.
Check in time is 2pm, if you are there early you can always hangout by the lake. The road before the campground turn off leads to a parking lot in front of the lake.
Yes, we just spent a wonderful week there. It was a bit cold at night.
There is a TINY area right outside the check-in shack, where a couple of cars can park, but it's not a guarantee that you can get a spot there... There is also a dirt lot down by the Christian camp that you might be able to use in a pinch, but that is a bit of a trek.
Yes, depending on the climate tho. Visit their website π
There are a couple of sites that are not reservable, but most of them are reserved 6 months in advance through recreation.gov
The park itself is a one time fee but when you get into the area of Hume Lake, it is first come first serve with the picnic spots but there is also a campground which is first come first serve
Pretty good. Mostly calm
Only in specific areas but not really.
Best to make reservations if you plan on staying more than one day. Spaces fill up fast.
I don't think 32' will work. They do not have full hook ups. 32 footer wouldn't make the drive I suspect anyways.
