This is a roadside motel straight out of the 1960s with all the modern touches. The rooms are clean and comfortable yet still have that touch of nostalgia. There are tv’s with lots of channels, and outlets for all of your charging needs. Rhonda, the innkeeper, is extremely friendly and will make you feel welcome right away. . Her doors are open in the lobby area to provide coffee and snacks in the morning, and she is always available by phone. There is also a Keurig coffee maker provided in your room for those coffee cravings. The location can’t be beaten… right across the street from the Monument Mountain hiking path. You receive vouchers to enjoy a relaxing and delicious breakfast at the Red Lion Inn which is only 3 miles away. Guests can use all of the facilities there including the year-round outdoor pool and jacuzzi. It is a great location to explore all that the Berkshires have to offer. Oh… and it’s dog-friendly too!! The Briarcliff is a great value for your next trip to the Berkshires.

I recently took a weekend getaway with my furry friend and found myself at the Briarcliff Motel. Not only did Rhonda great me with VIP service, warmth and hospitality - but she extended that same star service to my pet. I felt right at home at Briarcliff. The breakfast was light and airy. The rooms chic with a Euro-vibe that I loved and a bed that felt I was sleeping on air. It’s location is super convenient to the motorway as well as all the attractions that Great Barrington. / Berkshires has. If you’re looking for destinations / attractions nearby - Rhonda can always provide expert suggestions and connections to the best places. I wouldn’t change a thing and would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. In a heartbeat.

Greeted by a fire pit at night, after an easy contact-free check-in. Slept well and were served great coffee and donuts from Taft Farms by a charming hotel manager and her adorable dogs in the morning. Who could ask for more? We felt very comfortable and it was super close to the Butternut ski mountain (took us about 10 minutes to get there in the morning with a quick stop at the gas station). Would definitely come back here.

My group enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Briarcliff Motel. We were in the area for work, and Rhonda was a pleasure to book with from the very start. She is so incredibly friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable and clean rooms, and easy contact-less check in for everyone. And it is very close by to many great restaurants and sights in the Great Barrington and West Stockbridge areas. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying another time.
