This review is not for the specific location but the overall company*** the town I reside in uses rumpke as the sole waste company for our entire area. I have lived in the same house for 2.5 years. Used the same trash bin the whole time (which was provided by my landlord and we were both advised it was an acceptable bin). I put my trash bin out the night before as advised by our public works office. I also ensure it’s in an acceptable and visible location for the drivers. I put it within the same 6 inches of space as advised by our public works team to ensure visibility (and how my neighbors do as well). I also have only ever had one bulk item in 2.5 years my can is always secured and never overflowing. Yet for 8-10 weeks in a row there will be no issue then randomly I will be skipped. The entire block will be picked up and my house skipped. For no reason. My services have never been late or disconnected I’ve never been on any sort of payment plan etc. it is so frustrating! And because my account is not directly with rumpke I’m forced to use the cities public works team as a form of communication and they can never give me a direct answer why I’m skipped. (And they have confirmed it’s been just me on my block every time as well as I have observed neighbors all having pick up) next time I move I will ensure that I have more than one option because this has been the worst 2.5 years of trash pick up I’ve ever experienced.

My biggest issue is they keep skipping our house. We’ve been here not even a year and they’ve missed our trash 3 times already even though the bill is paid, it’s on auto pay, and it’s a zero balance. Then it takes 48 hours for them to come back and do their job. We are the only ones on our street with this issue. It’s annoying. How hard is it to pick up trash? No, it wasn’t over 50 pounds. No, we didn’t have excessive trash. No, we don’t have too many bins. It’s literally one bin.
