Michelle and Tom were amazing hosts! They were super friendly and helpful. They greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour. There were an array of pastries and fresh fruit available to us. The breakfast was the most amazing part of our trip. Michelle is the most wonderful cook. Best breakfast I think I’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommend. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable for our entire stay.

My wife and I visited the Inn last weekend as our first post-pandemic overnight trip. We trust Tom and Michelle completely based on prior stays, and we were delighted to see the Covid protocols in place exactly as they had described them to us. But as importantly, T&M's warmth and hospitality survived nicely. The room was very comfortable and clean, and we slept well after a full day of hiking and bicycling. The next morning, we were treated to the usual delicious breakfast, albeit socially distanced. One of our favorite past activities was sitting in the ample living room for hours, playing board games with our iphones turned off, and meeting the diverse groups of people from all walks of life who stay at the Inn. We will soon have that opportunity as well as this terrible crisis abates, but I now highly recommend not waiting, especially as the weather gets warmer. BTW, my wife and I are now fully vaccinated but we value people who treat the crisis seriously as they do at the Inn.

We spent 2 night at the Windflower to relax and escape for a little while. The Inn is comfortable and clean and the Inn keepers pleasant and friendly. They provided wonderful cookies as snacks as well as fresh fruit and made excellent yet simple breakfasts. There is plenty of space to eat without other guests on top of you (in this COVID world) and the Inn keepers have done a great job of maintaining a comfortable and friendly atmosphere while also maintaining social distance and virus mandates. The area is great for walking and there are plenty of great places to eat within a couple miles. Overall - a great place to stay and a wonderful small business to support.

We slept 11 hours straight the first night. If I need to say any more than that: this place is absolutely lovely. We stayed in The Monument room, complete with fireplace and wrap-around porch. Every morning we enjoyed delicious baked goods and homemade butters. Every afternoon we noshed on homemade cookies. The common rooms are welcoming, with cozy spots to sit. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch daily - we could have sat there all day! It's hard for us to feel comfortable traveling during the pandemic, but the innkeepers have everything well-handled. We felt very safe, which definitely helped us relax!

There are a number salons in town about 3 miles from The Inn. Lawrence of London, and Michele's Salon are just 2 that come to mind immediately. Most are downtown, on or near Main street.
