Supposed "quiet time 10pm - 8 am ,however ever night out of a week stay we were woken up before 6am by screaming kids and rude parents screaming and cursing up a storm. ( MEANWHILE OUR KIDS WERE STILL ASLEEP. The grounds were empty and of course a family who reserved 4 campsites with 4 to 5 kids at each have to be right next to ours. It's one thing to have loud kids but when the parents don't try and quiet them down. Shows zero respect for anyone else. Not once did any staff come down and ask them to quiet down. NEVER COMING BACK.

Close proximity to the Capital Region. New facilities. Pristine lake. Nice camp sites but no electricity on sites. Large baseball diamond and field for other games. Small beach and playground. Very family friendly. The nature center next door is great for the kids and plenty of hiking, biking and swimming. Movies on Saturday nights.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Nice small system of trails on premises that connects to another larger network (at Thacher state park), and a nature center. Lake is nice to take a dip, or to rent a boat. The sites are generously sized with good fire pits. Reasonably priced ice and firewood. I would recommend this camp site to a friend, or stay here again.

Yes, need proof of licences, shots etc. Kept leashed, cleanup after dog. All the usual normal things.
Kayaks are allowed and the lake is stocked. Best to go in the morning.

Yes! The lake has a variety of fish: pickerel, bass and pan fish (blue gill/ sunnie's.) All you need is your fishing license and then you can fish the entire lake!
Have been turned away, even though the other half of my family was in there because the beach had reached its maximum capacity. Would suggest going earlier rather than later.
The earliest is 1pm but If you call and let them know your coming in late I have never had an issue. I arrived as late as 10pm.
